Paderborn‘s finest (only?) punk band A TIME TO STAND finally released their debut album „Light Years“ (KSR016) in the spring of 2019. Following a couple of singles and split EPs, the albums marks a decisive progress for the band. Although the records starts with „Generic Pop Punk Intro“, the band clearly shows that they know what they are doing while taking the piss out of the genre‘s conventions.
The artwork itself is a piece of beauty and shows why vinyl still has its right to exist in the 21st century. Fuze Magazine called them „one of the best pop punk bands in Germany“, so you better go see them live when they play across town.
